Halter Top
You might be excited to wear your new, sexy halter top at the beach, but don’t let your excitement keep you from planning anything else. For one, you need to prepare for summer outings. This is your time to show off your body and to attract attention, so why waste that opportunity? You should make sure that you look your best, and you can do this by knowing how to put on make-up that’s going to be just right for a day at the resort. Of course, you wouldn’t need to put on full make-up, not the kind that you would wear to go to the office, or to a party. But it would be nice to put something on your face to cover your blemishes, if you have any, or to simply enhance your natural beauty. Below are some tips on how you can put on make-up that will be just right for the beach.
* Take note of the activities you’re going to be doing during your summer trips. Are you fond of water sports and beach volleyball? Or, are you just going to spend the day basking under the sun to get that glorious tan? Knowing what you’re going to do will help you decide what kind and how much make-up to put on.
* Stock up on waterproof products if you haven’t got any. You can browse through various reviews on the Internet to see which brands are favored by many individuals. Even if you’re not going to spend time in the water, waterproof make-up is still your best bet, because the humidity in places such as resorts can affect your look.
* Don’t forget to put on sunscreen. If you’re going to swim, make sure to put on the waterproof kind. In case you’re just going to sunbathe, a moisturizer with SPF will work just fine. Don’t bother with putting on foundation, because this might not glide on as smoothly with sunscreen on, and may come off as greasy.
* Dust on some powder, and put bronzer on your cheeks to give the illusion of a tan. What’s great about putting on bronzer is that you won’t have to worry about having a blotchy face after spending time in the water. The bronzer would just come straight off of your skin once you swim. Keep in mind that even waterproof products will fade or come off when you spend much time swimming.
* Use sheer color on your lips. Red lipstick is a definite no-no, so stick to lip gloss or colored lip balm for a lighter coverage.
*Accentuate your eyes with waterproof mascara, but only if you don’t plan to go into the water. Keep in mind that your mascara will most likely run when you swim, so if you must absolutely put some on, wash your face in the bathroom first before you go ahead and take a splash at the sea or pool.
